Grey Bruce Farmers Week has been a main stay for the agricultural industry in Grey & Bruce Counties since 1966. The featured commodities have changed as the agricultural focus has changed, but the mandate to educate local farmers and agribusiness has remained firm. Georgian Central Soil and Crop Improvement Association is an alliance of the existing Soil and Crop Improvement Associations in the counties of Bruce, Grey, Dufferin, South Simcoe and North Simcoe. Facilitate responsible economic management of soil, water, air and crops through development and communication of innovative farming practices. |
A coalition of agricultural and conservation organizations, local and provincial governments and interested farmers. ALUS creates a healthy, working landscape that simultaneously sustains agriculture, wildlife and the protection of natural spaces. Under ALUS, participating farmers receive payments to deliver a variety of environmental services such as reducing soil erosion, improving water quality and enhancing wildlife habitat. Is a non-profit organization devoted specifically to forages, providing technical and research information resources for Forage Producers and the Industry. This service provides producers with information on forage availability. This service is OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE. This Hay Listing is a self service tool that enables buyers and sellers of hay (and straw), to announce and search available or needed hay lots.
