Ontario Agriculture Week – Oct 5 -11, 2015
#LoveONTfood
Agriculture is an industry in our region, but it is also a way of life.
In the week leading up to Thanksgiving, Grey County Economic Development and Grey Agricultural Services are pleased to celebrate Ontario Agriculture Week by introducing 10 of the farmers who grow, raise and produce food in Grey County.
We invite you to follow our campaign as we promote local farms and food. You'll hear from the producers themselves about the depth and diversity of agriculture in Grey and the positive effects it has on our health, economy and communities. Two producer profiles per day will be posted on the Grey Agricultural Services and Foodlink Grey Bruce websites and on associated social media feeds. In addition, five of the 10 profiles will be featured in the Owen Sound Sun Times.
For an overview of agriculture in Grey, see Agriculture in Grey in 2015: A Snapshot of Diversity.
